The representatives of the party of the ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko “European Solidarity” were searched. About it reported Irina Gerashchenko, co-chairman of the faction in the Verkhovna Rada.
The press service of The Insider party said that the searches were carried out as part of the case on the importation of coal to Ukraine in 2014.
“We regard these ordered actions of the authorities as a deliberate provocation against our political team, systemic pressure, intimidation, psychological torture. An attempt to destabilize the opposition and its leader Petro Poroshenko, ”Gerashchenko stressed. She also added that the searches, which began at 7 am local time, were carried out in the absence of lawyers, contrary to the law.
The “European Solidarity” also announced the preparation of an analogue of the “Magnitsky list”, where the party members will include “all prosecutors, investigators, judges who make ordered, illegal decisions.”
A criminal case has been initiated against the former President of Ukraine Poroshenko under the articles “High treason” and “Aiding the activities of terrorist organizations.” In particular, the case concerns the purchase of coal in the Donbass. According to the investigation, the ex-president created a criminal group and disrupted the coal supplies from South Africa contracted in the fall of 2014.
