In the near future, politician Yevgeny Roizman may be detained in Yekaterinburg, informs Znak.com citing the source. According to the newspaper, external surveillance was attached to the ex-mayor of the city.
In a conversation with The Insider, Roizman himself said that he did not know anything about this: “It happens that I see outdoor, I see it frankly. Well, I see and see, I have been living in this state for many years. I do not know where this information comes from in the media. I sit and write a book, I have every day scheduled to the minute. This is Russia, I have no illusions, anything can happen. I still live my life and will not change my life. In my country, I have no right to be afraid, I know for sure that nothing bad will be done. “
Earlier this year, Roizman was tried for participating in unauthorized rallies in support of politician Alexei Navalny and for “organizing” and participating in a rally on April 21. In total, the court fined Roizman 60 thousand rubles and sent him to a prison for 10 days (later the term of arrest was reduced to one day).
