Kommersant-Kazan deleted news about the real estate of the former Minister of Construction of Tatarstan Marat Khusnullin, written on the basis of an article by Open Media. This happened after the request of Roskomnadzor.

The news was published under the heading “Assets worth 3.2 billion rubles were found in the family of Marat Khusnullin,” according to RKN, it contained “information materials of a foreign or international non-governmental organization whose activities were recognized as undesirable”.

In a note with a link to Open Media saidthat the Khusnullin family manages a portfolio of 86 square kilometers in Tatarstan.

Khusnullin now holds the post of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

Recall that at the end of December, the Dozhd TV channel and the publications Znak, Meduza and The Village received letters from Roskomnadzor demanding the removal of news from their websites that mention investigations by the Proekt newspaper, which was recognized as an “undesirable organization”.

Roskomnadzor said that the notes should be removed according to the request of the General Prosecutor’s Office as “information materials published and distributed by a foreign nongovernmental organization Project Media, Inc.”

The publications were forced to remove the news about the investigations. Among them were materials about Vladimir Putin’s friend Svetlana Krivonogikh, Yuri Kovalchuk, Nail Asker-zade, Arkady Rotenberg, Ramzan Kadyrov, Dmitry Medvedev and other well-known Russian politicians and businessmen.
