Rostov-on-Don resident Rostislav Pavlishchev was arrested for 10 days because of the symbols of the FBK and Smart Voting. About it informs OVD-Info.

According to the newspaper, the case against the Rostovite was brought up after the complaint of an unknown woman. She wrote that she was “worried” because her son allegedly fell under the influence of Pavlishchev.

“Having studied his social networks, I was shocked. Rostislav does not hide that he supports Navalny and his extremist ideas, agitating his entourage for this. In addition, he is fond of weapons and it is not known what is on his mind. I’m just afraid for my son and other young guys! Extremism should not be unpunished, ”the woman complained.

This September the Rostov court arrested activist Bella Nasibyan for five days because of a photo published on Instagram with a poster of the Smart Voting project. The photo, which Nasibyan posted in the story, showed a poster of the State Duma deputy candidate Alexander Ryabchuk, in whose election campaign the activist participated, as well as other leaflets and posters, among which was a poster with “Smart Vote”.

Nasibyan was found guilty of propaganda of extremist symbols (part 1 of article 20.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation). The protocol noted that “Smart Voting” is a project of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), whose activities in June this year were banned on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The next day the trial freed Nasibyan from under arrest, replacing him with an administrative fine.

June 9, 2021 Moscow City Court admitted FBK is an extremist organization. Now the activities of the foundation are officially banned, and its members and even just supporters, according to the new law, will not be able to be elected to the legislative bodies of all levels for several years. Previously, FBK was recognized as an organization performing the role of a foreign agent.

On September 1, it became known that FBK had ceased to exist as a legal entity.
