In Moscow, since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, 71.9 thousand more people have died than expected. In Madrid – 23.5 thousand, in Rome – almost 6.3 thousand, in Berlin – 5.2 thousand. In London and Paris, mortality directly from coronavirus exceeded excess mortality, so Cold used this figure in its calculation. In London, 21 thousand people died from coronavirus, in Paris – 4.9 thousand.
Thus, the total excess mortality since the beginning of 2020 in London, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Paris is about 61 thousand people.
