In the Kirovgrad city district of the Sverdlovsk region, pensioners were promised to pay 300 rubles upon presentation of a certificate of a full course of vaccination against coronavirus. About it writes local edition “Regional newspaper”.
In a conversation with a correspondent of the publication, the mayor of Kirovgrad, Alexander Oskin, said that the purpose of this payment is not so much to attract pensioners to vaccinations, but to express “support” to them on the eve of the New Year.
“According to our calculations, about 2,400 senior citizens who have retired after working in budgetary organizations are registered in Kirovgrad. We have provided funds for these people in the municipal budget, ”added the head of the Kirovgrad GO.
In April 2021, the Moscow mayor’s office initiated the issuance of gift certificates in the amount of 1,000 rubles to all retirees who have received at least one coronavirus vaccine.
