The ex-premier of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, and now a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, United Russia Party member Alexander Borodai, who declared 0 rubles of income in 2020, turned out to be the owner of multimillion-dollar property. According to the authors of the material, Borodai, who, in coordination with the aide to the President of the Russian Federation Vladislav Surkov, directed the transfer of Russian security officials to Donbass in 2014, in October 2015, a year after returning from eastern Ukraine, bought an apartment in Moscow with a market value of more than 100 million rubles. But this is not all the property of the deputy.
Also in 2015, Boroday became the owner of an apartment with an area of 104 square meters in Dubai on Palm Jumeirah in the GRANDEUR RESIDENCES residential complex. Similar apartments are now worth 450 thousand euros or 37 million rubles, according to the investigation.
