Alexander Ionov, the author of denunciations to the media, became the new member of the public council FSIN. At the same time, Eva Merkacheva, a member of the Human Rights Council, was removed from the council. On this drew attention human rights activist Marina Litvinovich.

“Eva Merkacheva and Anna Karetnikova were removed from the council. Both are doing incredibly much to improve the FSIN system. And most importantly, those who know this system well from the inside. Now they are not there. Many really active members of the previous council were not included in the council, who, judging by the report posted on the FSIN website, did a lot of useful things, ”Litvinovich wrote in her Telegram channel.

The journalists are represented on the Council by Andrey Kunitsyn, deputy head of the NTV Information Directorate, and by TASS correspondent Alexander Shashkov.

Also members of the Council are now art workers – Sergei Garmash and Evgeny Grishkovets

Alexander Ionov is the founder of the Anti-Globalization Movement, a supporter of Anti-Maidan. It was he who authored the denunciations of Meduza, The Bell and Important Stories, after which they were recognized as foreign agents.
