One of the former prisoners of IK-17 in Krasnoyarsk, a defendant in the “ABTO case” Ivan Astashin confirmed to The Insider that the presented footage is indeed from the Krasnoyarsk colony.

This is what everyone who is serving a sentence in IK-17 and in general in correctional institutions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory knows. As for the convict who falls out of the window, there is a 99% chance that this is also IK-17, because the five-story barracks in IK-17 are like that. This is the summer of 2020, then I was sitting in the PKT and heard about this case that the convict fell out of the window. We sit in isolation and do not know what is happening in the camp. PKT is a separate area behind a fence. It was rumored that he allegedly jumped out of the window himself. This was the first wave of coronavirus, there were all these restrictions, no one entered the zone. I do not exclude that he jumped out himself and was helped, but it is necessary to conduct an investigation, ”Astashin notes.
