The builders of the infectious diseases building in Kursk went to pickets demanding to pay them for the work performed. Earlier, 6 people who were left without a salary turned to the police and the prosecutor’s office, writes “7×7”.

According to foreman Pavel Kuznetsov, 145 thousand rubles were owed to him and the workers. The team has been working at the facility since November 3, 2021. They performed painting, bricklaying and plasterboard installation. The people who hired them promised to pay salaries once a week, but soon there were delays in the payment of money.

“One of these days [на объект] Mikhail Samoilenko arrived [генеральный директор ООО «Стройоптимум Курск»] and said that there will be no past contractor, we continue to work and now he will pay us. Then we learned that this organization does not work for the covid center. We were told that we had already paid off with the previous contractor, ”said Kuznetsov.

As a result, the foreman sold his land plot and paid part of the salary to his workers from the proceeds.

As 7×7 reminds, the construction of the infectious disease building began in January 2021. For its construction, the Russian government has allocated 1 billion 380 million rubles. Total contract amount made up 1 billion 963 million rubles. The general contractor was Tezis Construction Holding LLC.

Updated by: Industrial District Court of Kursk fined for 20 thousand rubles, foreman Pavel Kuznetsov. He was recognized as the organizer of a series of pickets, during which the workers demanded to pay money for the construction of the infectious diseases building. However, according to Kuznetsov, after the publication in the media of information about non-payment of wages, one of the subcontractors contacted him and returned the money.
