An examination organized by the leadership of the Bolshoi Theater established that the artist Yevgeny Kulesh, who died when the scenery fell during the play “Sadko”, was in a state of alcoholic intoxication at the time of the tragedy.
The State Labor Inspectorate of the city of Moscow established that the incident occurred at work, but alcohol intoxication of moderate severity was established. But nobody noticed it. The commission noted that in this regard, the deceased is found guilty. About it told RIA Novosti lawyer for the mother of the deceased Andrei Aleshkin. The average degree of intoxication is characterized by impaired coordination of movements, unsteady, unsteady gait and other signs.
At the same time, the defense still has questions to the commission. In particular, the deceased Yevgeny Kulesh did not leave the theater. Thus, it is unclear “how and where he managed to get drunk to such a state.”
The lawyer plans to appeal the findings in court after receiving the official act.
The tragedy took place in October during the play “Sadko” on the historical stage of the theater. Kulesh was, according to various sources, 37 or 38 years old, he was an artist of the theater’s mimic ensemble – an actor who are attracted to the mass stages of operas and ballets.
After the incident, the Investigative Committee of Russia and the prosecutor’s office announced the beginning of checks on the circumstances of the incident, but what conclusion did the law enforcement agencies come to, there is no information yet.
