Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation introduced in the register of “foreign agents” the Far Eastern public movement “Mayak”. Also in the list included ANO for the implementation of social and legal programs “Lilith”.
Press service of the “LGBT Network” in a conversation with Sota explainedthat Mayak is a member of the movement, but at the same time, like other collective and individual participants, it is autonomous and shares common values, and does not coordinate its actions with the LGBT Network itself.
Apparently, ANO “Lilith” is a structure associated with “Mayak” – according to the “Kontur.Fokus”, they are united by one leader – Regina Dzugkoyeva.
At the end of November, the list of “foreign agents” was included LLC “Nobel Prize”, created by people previously recognized as “foreign agents”, as well as the editor-in-chief of the Sota publication Oleg Elanchik.
On December 10, Presidential Ombudsman Tatiana Moskalkova announced that the law on “foreign agents” should be changed.
“The law on foreign agents requires adjustment, clarification, in particular, understanding of political activity. So that the decision to enter into the register can be appealed, and that there is an understanding of how a public organization recognized by a foreign agent should work. All this, in my opinion, requires serious clarification, ”said Moskalkova.
At the end of 2019, the State Duma passed a law allowing individuals to be included in the register of media outlets – “foreign agents”. A person can be assigned such a status if he receives any foreign funding and distributes “printed, audio, audiovisual and other messages and materials intended for an unlimited number of people,” including on the Internet.
