The Ministry of Health of Belarus issued a permit for the import and use of the Russian vaccine “KoviVac”

Ministry of Health of Belarus gave out permission to import and use the Russian vaccine “KoviVac” against COVID-19.

“The Ministry of Health of Belarus, in accordance with the law on the circulation of medicines, issued a permit for the import and use of the KoviVac vaccine against COVID-19. This inactivated whole-virion concentrated purified vaccine is designed to prevent and eliminate the consequences of epidemic diseases, ”the press service of the Ministry of Health said.

In the period from December 13-15, more than 300 thousand doses of the vaccine were sent to all regions of Belarus.

“KoviVak” was developed by the Chumakov Center. Unlike most drugs created in the world, it is a whole-virion vaccine, that is, it contains a whole, but killed Sars-Cov-2 virus, and not parts of it.
