President of the National Association of Freight Road Transport “Gruzavtotrans” Vladimir Matyagin appealed to Vladimir Putin with a request to influence the fuel companies, which raised prices by about 20% in a year, writes Znak.com.
Matyagin spoke about the rise in the cost of diesel fuel in St. Petersburg on the example of refueling “Lukoil”. Now diesel costs 54.12 rubles there – a year ago the price was around 46 rubles.
“Why do we, in an oil country, have prices growing by 18-20%, by almost eight rubles per year?” – Matyagin asks. He noted that the rise in food prices is associated, among other things, with the rise in the price of fuel, which is required for transportation.
