Google has warned employees that those who do not provide confirmed information about vaccinations against COVID-19 will first be deprived of their salaries and then fired. The exception applies to those who cannot be vaccinated for medical or religious reasons. About it informs CNBC citing documents leaked to the media.
In a memo distributed by management, it is said that employees of the corporation must upload documents confirming vaccination or evidence of a good reason for its absence by December 3. Then, those on whom the company’s management still has questions will be contacted to notify of possible sanctions.
Employees who fail to comply with vaccination rules by January 18 will be sent on “paid administrative leave” for 30 days. The company will then send them on “unpaid personal leave” for up to six months, followed by dismissal.
