Let us remind you that the Ministry of Justice included the League of Voters Foundation on the list of “foreign agents” on October 28. The reason was the donation of 225 rubles from a citizen of Moldova.
“The Ministry of Justice has not provided the fund with documents on the results of the check, confirming the foreign citizenship of the donor. The Foundation, like any other Russian NGO, is not able to verify the citizenship of donors. Nevertheless, the fund returned the donation immediately after receiving information from the Ministry of Justice, ”the League’s press service said.
