International coalition against ISIS completes combat missions in Iraq and withdraws forces from the country

The international coalition against the terrorist group ISIS ended the military operations in Iraq and began to withdraw forces from the country. About it stated Iraqi government advisor for national security Qasem al-Araji.

“The last stage of negotiations with the international coalition, which began last year, has come to an end … The combat missions of the coalition forces are over, and they are officially leaving Iraq,” al-Araji said.

According to him, cooperation with the international coalition will continue in the format of training, consultations and strengthening the combat potential.

Recall that in April, the United States and other countries of the international coalition agreed to withdraw their military from Iraq, but the timing of this operation was not announced at that time.
