The Tverskoy Court of Moscow sentenced Konstantin Lakeev to 2 years 8 months in a general regime colony in the “palace case”. About it informs “Novaya Gazeta” with reference to the press service of the court.
Lakeyev was found guilty of hooliganism committed by a group of persons, as well as deliberate damage to property for hooligan motives.
Mediazona notes that 337 thousand rubles were also collected from Lakeyev in a civil suit for damage to property.
A criminal case of hooliganism (part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code) was opened against Lakeyev after the FSB car was damaged at a rally on January 23 in support of politician Alexei Navalny. After the arrest, the UK posted a video of his apology.
Lakeev had a blog on TikTok under the pseudonym “Kostya Kievsky”.
On January 23, protesters threw snowballs at an FSB car, some kicked it and jumped on the hood. Earlier in the same case, the Tverskoy Court sentenced the participant of the rally Gleb Borisov received a suspended sentence of five years in prison.
Borisov was found guilty of two episodes of non-life-threatening violence against law enforcement officers (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), as well as deliberate damage or destruction of property (part 2 of article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
