The Petrogradskiy District Court of St. Petersburg partially satisfied the honor and dignity lawsuit filed by the former professor of the Russian State Pedagogical University and ex-Yabloko deputy Alexander Kobrinsky against the journalist of the Kholod publication Sonia Volyanova because of the text about harassment of female students. About it informs chief editor of “Holod” Taisiya Bekbulatova.
According to the court’s decision, Volyanova must pay Korbinsky 300 thousand rubles, and also publish a refutation on her Facebook page. Initially, the plaintiff demanded a million and asked to remove article.
At the same time, as the editor-in-chief of the publication writes, Kobrinsky did not deny that he had sexual intercourse with students – the episodes of violence against two girls described in the article became the reason for his claims.
“I would like to note that even a member of Yabloko itself, Marianna Ilyina, publicly announced Kobrinsky’s harassment in the end – but her statement, of course, remained without consequences (except that the respected party member now promises a lawsuit to her),” Bekbulatova emphasized.
