In Moscow House of Culture “GES-2” the plaque for the performance God, Moscow by the Islamic artist Ragnar Kjartansson was translated as “Untitled”. On this drew attention of Pussy Riot participant Maria Alekhina and Mediazona.

According to Alekhina, one of the curators of the exhibition explained to her that the word “God” was forbidden to write.

The press service of “GES-2” did not answer the question about the differences in the translation of the name of the publication.

On December 4, a new cultural space opened in Moscow – the House of Culture “GES-2″, located in the building of the former city power plant on Bolotnaya embankment. The investor of the project was billionaire Leonid Mikhelson. In the first season, the exhibition “To Moscow! To Moscow! To Moscow!” by the Icelandic artist Ragnar Kjartansson, in which he reflects on the power of the influence of art on a person.
