The police of the Belarusian Minsk detained five people on suspicion of attempting to commit a terrorist act. Interfax writes about this with reference to the message of the Municipal Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
According to the message, the suspects “were active participants in one of the destructive Telegram channels.” It is also noted that they filmed their shares, “receiving a monetary reward for this.”

According to the ministry, these persons posted blasphemous and cynical statements about the victims in various messengers and social networks. They were recognized as suspects under the article “Incitement to racial, national, religious or other social enmity or hatred.”

Thus, the commander of the Belarusian internal troops Nikolai Karpenkov promised that the terrorists would be destroyed if the police did not see the raised hands. “The response of law enforcement officers (to the murder of a KGB officer – ed.) Will be adequate, legal and absolutely consistent in this situation … There is a terrorist, there is an address where he is, they arrived, they warned him, they did not open the door … the door will be blown up, stun grenades will be used, the staff will put the dog there. Let’s go with a shield. And if in this situation we do not see the raised hands, the enemy will be destroyed, “Karpenkov said.
