VK CEO Boris Dobrodeyev is retiring. About it reported in the press service of the company.
They added that Dobrodeev “will continue to perform his duties until the board of directors of VK appoints a new general director.”
Dobrodeev himself said that he plans to return to USM to work with digital assets, including AliExpress Russia, as well as launch a global venture fund.
“But in the near future, I will focus on smoothly handing over and making the transition as smooth as possible for shareholders, calm for the team and invisible to our millions of users,” he said.
Boris Dobrodeev joined the Board of Directors of Mail.ru Group in 2013. After the departure of the founder of VKontakte Pavel Durov in 2014, he de facto served as the general director of VKontakte.
