In Rostov-on-Don, journalist Igor Khoroshilov’s apartment was searched in a criminal case because of a post about the Great Patriotic War on the Telegram channel of his friend Sergei Reznik. Because of this post, a case was opened for the rehabilitation of Nazism.

The post, due to which the case was opened, was posted on June 22. It said that “on June 22, 1941, the troops of Nazi Germany launched an operation to enforce peace and protect the constitutional order in the East.” According to the Investigative Committee, the post “demonstrated a falsified attitude to the historical past.”

The search warrant states that Khoroshilov, according to the investigator, was “familiar with Reznik for a long time” and that “Reznik himself may be in his apartment, <...> as well as objects and documents that may contain information about [его] location “.
