What diseases will enter there is still unknown. The Ministry of Health said that the list of contraindications for vaccination “correlates with the list of contraindications prescribed in the instructions for each drug.” For example, “Kovivak” cannot be used by people over 60 years old, and “EpiVacCorona” – by cancer patients.
This is how it looks now list of contraindications to “Sputnik V”:
- hypersensitivity to any component of a vaccine or vaccine containing similar components.
- history of severe allergic reactions.
- acute infectious and non-infectious diseases, exacerbation of chronic diseases.
According to the updated recommendations, lactating women can be vaccinated, as well as pregnant women over 22 weeks.
Contraindications for the introduction of the second component of “Sputnik V” – severe post-vaccination complications (anaphylactic shock, severe generalized allergic reactions, convulsive syndrome, temperature above 40 ° C, etc.) for the introduction of the first component of the vaccine.
As for other vaccines: according to the official recommendations of the Ministry of Health, Kovivac is still contraindicated in people over 60 years old, and EpiVacCorona is contraindicated in cancer patients.
