In the fall of 2021, the prisoner was able to give his father a notebook in which he described in detail the torture, the dates of the beatings and the names of the FSIN officers who participated in the abuse.
“They constantly force me to hang myself, they say to commit suicide, I’m tired of living this way, I can’t stand this anymore. The policemen stick out their dicks, piss on me and film it, make me speak obscenities on the camera. And they say, if I call a lawyer again, they will show this video to other prisoners. Father, I’m tired of living like that, it’s better to die, ”- written in Zhuraev’s diary.
It also says that Zhuraev was tortured with electric current by applying bare wires to his legs and penis. After that, the prisoner “wrote in blood for two months.” “This zone is for non-Russians, as we want, and we will scoff. If we want – we will kill, if we want – we will rape, ”the guards said to Zhuraev.
“In 2017, the police beat me, hung a cross on me, urinated on me and said that I was now a Christian. They tied my hands and feet, they didn’t give me bread for 15 days, I had to sign their paper, ”the convict said in his diary. They also extorted money from him. In the same year, Zhuraev handed over 50 thousand rubles to the torturers.
According to the prisoner’s father, after the publication of information about torture in the media, the prosecutor came to Zhuraev and took his testimony. Bozorov moved to Moscow and got a job at a construction site to pay for the services of a lawyer and transfers for his son.
Zhuraev’s lawyer Yulia Chvanova filed an application with the Investigative Committee. She noted that the client had yellow bruises on the back. Chvanova demanded to check the information about the beating of the prisoner and initiate criminal cases under articles on abuse and abuse of office.

He later died in the prison hospital. “Mediazona” published shocking footage of the last minutes of Hovakimyan’s life. Judging by the video, the doctors did not even try to independently carry out resuscitation measures using a defibrillator. As a result, paramedic Ivan Semotiuk was tried for failure to provide medical assistance, but was acquitted.
Several inmates spoke of torture in IK-6. So, in 2021, Pavel Zotov, who was in the colonies of the Vladimir region from 2009 to 2021, spoke about bullying. He recalled that in IK-6 convicts in police clothes put him on the floor, undressed him, tied his arms and legs and beat him with a truncheon to torture him and in the groin.
