The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow fined Igor Shatin 10 thousand rubles for a photo on Red Square with flags. About it writes OVD-Info with reference to lawyer Yulia Kuznetsova.
Shatin was found guilty of violating the rules of participation in the conduct of the action (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).
Shatin and two other people were detained in Red Square on November 21 after they were photographed with Russian and American flags. They were taken to the Kitay-Gorod police station and administrative protocols were drawn up on them.
The People’s Freedom Party’s Facebook page notes that the men held a rally of solidarity with American congressmen who made resolution on non-recognition of Vladimir Putin as President of Russia in the event of his re-election in 2024.
