LLC “Charter”, associated with the son of the former Prosecutor General Igor Chaika, won the tender for the provision of a comprehensive service for the management of municipal solid waste in the North-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow. it discovered The Insider on the public procurement portal.

The contract value exceeded 18.3 billion rubles.

This summer, GUP Ecotechprom announced 10 tenders for MSW management for a total of 228.3 billion rubles. It was in one of these tenders that Chaika Jr.’s company won.

According to the terms of the tender, the winning company must provide collection, transportation, processing, neutralization, disposal and burial of solid municipal waste. The contractor’s special vehicles must be equipped with a video recorder and a GLONASS system.

The term for the provision of services in the tender is specified from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2029.

We will remind that in 2018 the Moscow region and a number of other regions were overwhelmed by the “garbage revolution”. Then the residents of Volokolamsk, Kolomna, Naro-Fominsk, Krasnogorsk, Svistyagino, Tuchkovo, Tarusa, Chernogolovka, Klin and other cities came out with protests against the landfills. After a series of illustrative scandals, the old “reputable businessmen” lost control over the garbage business in a number of regions.

The authorities are trying to intercept the protest agenda and, under the pretext of combating garbage and destroying landfills, redistribute cash flows in favor of their friends. At the same time, instead of recycling waste, which is required by residents, the authorities plan to build waste incineration plants. Make money on it started including the company of the son of the then Prosecutor General Igor Chaika.
