Director Vladimir Naumov died at the age of 93. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the Union of Cinematographers of Russia.
Together with director Alexander Alov, they shot 11 films. Including “Pavel Korchagin”, “Beg” and “Tehran 43”.
Naumov was awarded the USSR State Prize, the Orders of Honor, Friendship of Peoples and “For Services to the Fatherland” of three degrees. Laureate of the Golden Eagle Prize, film festivals in Moscow and Venice.
