The head of the United Russia faction in the parliament of North Ossetia, Timur Ortabaev, resigned after the deputies supported the federal bill on the introduction of QR codes on vaccination only the second time. This information is the deputy himself confirmed local edition “15th region”. He stated that he made the decision of his own free will.

There is an obvious organizational flaw, ”the source said.

On the eve of the parliament of North Ossetia did not get enough votes to support the bill of the Russian government on the introduction of QR codes in public places and transport.

In the voting on the federal bill “On the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population,” only 46 people took part, another 23 deputies were absent from the session. 12 deputies voted against the bills, 30 for -, four more abstained. In order to support the document, it was necessary to gain 35 votes.

Immediately after the end of the session, Ortabaev asked his United Russia colleagues to stay in the conference room. The conversation took place behind closed doors.

Later that day, parliament held a second vote, during which 44 MPs supported the bills.

In mid-November, the government submitted two bills to the State Duma, which provide for access to public places and transport using QR codes. The bills were sent for discussion to regional parliaments. The State Duma will consider the documents on December 16.
