According to the prisoner, the relatives said that the whole process was led by the deputy head of the pre-trial detention center for security and operational work, Denis Raspiven.
Kobets tried to open his veins during the beatings, but he was not allowed to do so. Wounds in SIZO-1 are not treated, say the prisoner’s relatives. “One cut has rotted, after 17 days tendons stick out,” – said Kobets himself in the courtroom. After repeated complaints of inhuman treatment, the prisoner was denied any treatment at all.
In November 2016, Alexey Elistratov, a prisoner of the same Novosibirsk SIZO No. 1 stated about bullying and torture by the employees of the detention center. For complaints about the conditions of detention, they allegedly tried to rape him. “Three employees of the FKU SIZO-1 of Novosibirsk entered the cell and began in a rude manner, using obscene language to demand that I take off my panties,” the young man writes. – They began to laugh and say that they were going to rape me, so that I would no longer want to write complaints to the prosecutor’s office about the actions of the prison staff, and also so that I would no longer write complaints about inappropriate conditions of detention. They said that they would rape me in the mouth and anus, and that they would get nothing for that, since I would not be able to prove anything to anyone. “

In 2015, about torture and beatings in pre-trial detention center No. 1 stated relatives of the arrested ex-head of the Novosibirsk Municipal Institution “Control Center for Urban Electric Transport” Aram Suvaryan and prisoner Kenan Jalilov.
