The Central District Court of Kemerovo collected 693,217.79 rubles from Stanislav Kalinichenko, Elizaveta Slavinskaya and three residents of the city, whose names were not disclosed, in favor of the local administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to pay for police work at protests on January 23 and 31. Also, the money should compensate for the expenses of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on gasoline, informs “Apology”.

By data “OVD-info”, another claim for the recovery of 752,409.39 rubles on the claim of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for “compensation for harm” will be considered by the court on November 25.

Kalinichenko and Slavinskaya are former employees of Alexei Navalny’s headquarters in Kemerovo. On November 10, Kalinichenko’s mother and elder brother were searched and interrogated. Searches were also carried out at Slavinskaya.

On July 5, on the eve of Vladimir Putin’s arrival in Kuzbass, Kalinichenko was arrested for 10 days. During the arrest, the police inflicted injuries on him. The activist was detained for allegedly failing to pay alimony, while the detention was filmed by employees of the Department for Combating Extremism.

Formerly Kirovsky District Court of Ufa satisfied the lawsuit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and recovered from the ex-head of the local headquarters of Navalny Lilia Chanysheva, as well as activists Olga Komleva and Ilgam Yanberdin, 529,400.11 rubles for overtime police work at the rally on 23 January. Now Chanysheva is in jail, she is charged with five criminal articles, including the creation of an extremist community.
