The financial director of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA) Alexander Efremov and the vice-rector of this university, Vladimir Fedotov, were searched. About it informs RIA Novosti citing a law enforcement source.
The searches took place as part of the investigation of a criminal case “on large fraud related to fictitious employment at the academy.”
According to TASS, the searches are related to the case of the former deputy head of the Ministry of Education Marina Rakova and the rector of Shaninka Sergei Zuev. The vice-rector and financial director of the RANEPA has the status of witnesses in this case, the agency’s interlocutor claims.
