Belarus does not and never has had a visa-free regime with either Iraq, Syria or Afghanistan. Belarus allows visa-free entry on various conditions to citizens of about 100 countries, but from the Middle East to this list are included only Bahrain, Israel, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia are not at all those countries where there are many who want to go to the West by any means. In addition, for up to 30 days to Belarus may to enter citizens of Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Pakistan, but only if they have a valid multiple-entry Schengen visa or a visa of one of the EU states; of course, holders of such visas do not need to break through the border. Citizens of Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria must obtain Belarusian visas.
