The Federal Penitentiary Service demanded to replace the conditional correctional labor, which was assigned to Lyubov Sobol in the case of “illegal entry into the dwelling” (part 2 of article 139 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), with real ones. About it writes RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the Simonovsky Court of Moscow.
“The court registered a case on the cancellation of the conditional conviction in connection with failure to fulfill the assigned duties, evasion of compensation for harm or the commission of a new crime,” the press service of the court noted.
Earlier, the Perovskiy District Court of Moscow sentenced Sobol to a year of probation, with a retention of 10% of his income.
On December 25 last year, police broke into Lyubov Sobol’s apartment. Later, Sobol was taken away for interrogation. The interrogation and search were connected with the case of violation of the inviolability of the home with the use of violence, it was opened after Sobol came to the home of FSB officer Konstantin Kudryavtsev, one of the participants in Navalny’s poisoning.
During the time spent in the UK, Sobol from a witness in the case turned into the main suspect. Along the way, a lot of interesting facts were revealed, for example, from the resolution of the Investigative Committee it became known that the mother-in-law of the FSB officer Kudryavtsev submitted an application for Sobol. This made it possible to find out that Kudryavtsev bought an apartment for 7.5 million rubles two months after the poisoning of Navalny. The Investigative Committee also claimed that Sobol and her associates entered Kudryavtsev’s apartment under the guise of Rospotrebnadzor employees.
