The actors who supported Alexei Navalny and the protests stopped calling for roles in films, TV shows and other projects. About it writes BBC Russian service with reference to representatives of the film industry.

Interlocutors of the publication, working in high positions in Gazprom-Media, said that in the winter of this year, the holding has updated “stop-lists” of actors, whom producers and directors are not allowed to invite to new projects. Sources said they had not seen the lists on paper, but “there is talk all the time.”

According to representatives of the film industry, the lists, in particular, include Varvara Shmykova, Alexandra Bortich, Alexander Pal, Pavel Derevyanko, Yana Troyanova and Semyon Treskunov.

One of the producers of “Gazprom-Media” said that the actors who got into the “stop-lists” began to “cut out” from the promo campaigns of finished projects.

“I know that Yana Troyanova and Sasha Bortich are on the black list of Gazprom-Media, all the companies and production centers that work with the PMG – and this is almost all – they are not even considered as candidates for any roles, directors are told in plain text so that they don’t even think about them, ”another producer of the holding told the BBC Russian Service.

The publication was also told that actress Irina Vilkova, who starred in the TV series “Mukhich’s Detective Agency” in September, published on Instagram a link to a document with a list of candidates supported by “Smart Voting” before the State Duma elections. series and working with “Gazprom-Media”, unilaterally broke the contract with the actress and cut out all the scenes with her.

According to the BBC Russian Service, actor Yevgeny Stychkin, who played the role of lawyer Alexei Navalny on the air of Dozhd while reading the roles of the court hearing on the arrest of the oppositionist, was excluded from the advertising campaign of the Kontakt TV series, its directorial debut.

Some actors, according to the publication, were summoned to the UK in the spring. After that, they made the decision to “keep their head down” to be removed from these lists. By the fall, a number of actors from the “stop lists” began to call for roles again, and Yana Troyanova and Irina Vilkova left Russia indefinitely, adds the BBC Russian Service.
