The Polish border service detained a Russian citizen for aiding illegal migration from Belarus. About this department reported в Twitter.
In addition to the Russian, a citizen of Sweden and a citizen of Lithuania were detained. Other details about those detained for complicity were not disclosed.
Over the past day, the border guard prevented 599 attempts to illegally cross the border from Belarus to Poland, in total 9 migrants were detained.
On the eve, several dozen refugees managed to penetrate into Poland from the territory of Belarus. They broke through the fence near the town of Krynka and the village of Bialowieza. As before today stated Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak, all of them were detained.
Blashak also said that 15 thousand Polish soldiers are currently on the border with Belarus. “If necessary, this number can be increased even more,” the minister added.

A meeting of the crisis headquarters was held in Warsaw with the participation of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense in connection with the events on the Polish-Belarusian border. On November 9, the Seim (parliament) of Lithuania adopted a resolution that introduces from November 10 a state of emergency on the border with Belarus.
