Over the past day in Russia, 39 165 new cases of coronavirus were detected in 85 regions, transfers opershtab.
In Moscow, 4,975 new cases were identified. During the day, 1,485 people were hospitalized, 96 patients died. There are 743 people on the ventilator.
The Moscow region took the second place in terms of incidence – 3297 people fell ill there per day. In St. Petersburg, the number of cases reached 2551.
8.1% of the patients had no clinical manifestations of the disease, the headquarters say. 1179 deaths were recorded. During the day in Russia, 26,806 people fully recovered.
In total, 8 million 795 095 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Russia during the pandemic.
