Former Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez became the team’s head coach. How informs press service of the Catalan club, the contract of 41-year-old Hernandez is calculated until the end of the 2024/25 season.
In 2015, Xavi Hernandez moved to the Qatari club “Al-Sadd”, later became a coach there. Earlier in Doha, they said they were determined to keep their coach. Now Al-Sadd has announced its agreement to return the footballer to Barcelona.

The previous Barcelona coach was Ronald Koeman. He led the team for only about a year and was sacked in October after the team was defeated twice in the Spanish Championship.
