In the city of Obluchye, Jewish Autonomous Region, all ambulance workers wrote a letter of resignation. Before that, they refused to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.

“All 15 employees of the ambulance wrote letters of resignation due to reluctance to get vaccinated. We have warned the management in advance that we will write a statement. We will work until November 15. We all work part-time in a covid hospital. In constant contact with patients. We have developed immunity for a long time “, – told RIA Novosti is an ambulance worker.

Vladislav Kogan, the chief physician of the OGBUZ “Ambulance Station” of the EAO, confirmed that all 15 employees had written letters of resignation. “While they are working, until November 15th. And then I don’t know how to get out of the situation, ”he said.

Later on the official Instagram page of the health department of the EAO was published statement on behalf of Kogan. “On the site, which is served by the departments of the OGBUZ“ Station of an ambulance ”, located in the Obluchensky district, there are about 25 thousand people. According to the standards, two or three crews will cope with this load. Now on the territory of the region there are five ambulance brigades deployed, apart from Obluchye itself, in the villages of Kuldur, Teploozersk, Pashkovo and Birakan. Plus, emergency teams deployed at hospitals. Even if all the employees who wrote their resignation letters really leave, the city will not be left without medical assistance, ”the statement said.

At the end of October, the presidential envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev, reported that the Jewish Autonomous Region was among the regions that are outsiders of vaccination in the Far East. A team of specialist auditors was sent to autonomy.

The chief sanitary doctor of the Jewish Autonomous Region, Pavel Kopylov, signed a decree according to which in the region, before November 15, 80% of the collective must be vaccinated against COVID-19, and vaccination should be completed by December 15. In the event that an employee refuses to vaccinate without a medical outlet, the employer is obliged to suspend him from work.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 9.3 thousand cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in the Jewish Autonomous Region, 464 patients have died. The bed fund for patients with COVID-19 is 278 beds, of which 89.6% are occupied. More than 150 thousand people live in the region.
