To whom exactly the album, Zhigan did not specify. Zhigan is the winner of the 2009 rap show “Battle for Respect”. At that time, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin was invited to this speech. Then from the stage, the rapper suggested that Putin record a joint track. In 2013, Zhigan was sentenced to a year in prison for robbery. He was released in December 2014.

Also in the video, Oksimiron talks about the mental problems that he faced in the past 10 years after the threat of publishing a video of the incident with Zhignan, which he would not like to show to his children. Because of this, he said, he experienced depression and subjected himself to internal self-censorship, which prevented the rapper from speaking on topics of interest to him. Recall that the rapper came to publicly support the activist and colleague Samariddin Radjabov. According to the prosecution, Radjabov threatened to use violence against three police officers in protective gear. In fact, the activist threw a plastic bottle on the paving slabs during the rally for fair elections to the Moscow City Duma.

Oksimiron often gave comments to the press during the persecution of activists in the Moscow case. In addition, in 2018, Miron performed at the concert “I will sing my music”, where, together with Noize MC and Basta, he sang several tracks in support of rapper Husky and other “protest” musicians who were massively canceled by the authorities. The concert was organized after Husky was arrested in Krasnodar on charges of petty hooliganism. After another cancellation of the concert, he tried to rap from the roof of someone else’s car in front of the listeners who came to him.

The ban on the rapper’s concerts was initiated by the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad Region Vladimir Petrov. He asked the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia to ban concerts of rappers in the country because of their negative impact on the younger generation. The answer was that very two-hour concert “I will sing my music.”

In the video, Oksimiron admits that because of depression he fought with alcohol and drug addiction and did not say a lot, because someone may misunderstand his words.
