A coffin with a deceased woman was brought to the administration building in Timashevsk in the Krasnodar Territory due to illegal demands from the morgue to pay for the transportation of the body. About it informs “Yuga.ru”.

The woman’s relatives were demanded 7,000 rubles for transporting the body from the hospital to the morgue, although this service should be free.

The publication notes that the morgue would be ready to accept the body from the police, but they refused to help in this. The police said that this is not provided for in the job description. After that, the son of the deceased woman was hospitalized with a heart attack.

“Today’s situation with the body of a deceased woman is unacceptable. Immoral. There are questions to the work of the morgue and the funeral agency. And here we need to put things in order so that everything is transparent – for what services and how much you have to pay. Now the most important thing is that the morgue accepted the body. We will discuss all the problems tomorrow at a meeting of all interested parties so that this does not happen again. My deepest condolences to the family of a woman from the Kalinin region, ”- said the head of the district Andrey Paliy.

The head of the department for interaction with law enforcement agencies talked with the relatives of the deceased near the administration building, after which the body was brought into the administration building.

The deceased is a pensioner from the Kalinin region, born in 1947. Presumably, she died of cancer. The Kalinin district police officer sent the body to Timashevsk for a forensic medical examination. They refused to accept the body, demanding the presence of the person who sent the body for examination. The morgue was opened only after the head of the district intervened.

As the publication clarifies, the editorial office began to receive calls from people who are imposed on additional ritual services for washing, dressing bodies. Also in the region there are difficulties with the delivery of the dead to the morgue and the issuance of bodies.
