The daily increase in new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia amounted to 40,993 cases, informs headquarters for infection control.
In Russia this week, for the fourth time, the maximum values of daily detection of new cases of coronavirus have been updated. The day before, 40,251 cases were reported.
Most of the cases are in Moscow – 7603, in St. Petersburg – 3597, in the Moscow region – 2737.
Over the past day, 1,158 patients have died from coronavirus, of which 94 died in Moscow, 82 in St. Petersburg, 43 in the Moscow region.
In total, during the pandemic, 8 million 513 thousand 790 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Russia, 238 538 deaths and 7 million 358 thousand 539 were discharged, including 27 115 were discharged in the last day.
