<p>An 84-year-old patient of the respiratory hospital at the Ministry of Emergency Situations No. 2 in Tomsk, who was looked after by her grandson under the guise of a doctor for three days, died at 19.32 in the intensive care unit.  About it <a href="https://tv2.today/News/Umerla-babuska-cej-vnuk-pod-vidom-vraca-pronik-v-tomskuu-msc-no2-dla-uhoda" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">informs</a> TV-2 channel with reference to the regional health department.  The patient&#8217;s grandson Sergei confirmed the information to The Insider.</p>
<p>As the head of the resuscitation department Yevgeny Tarasenko told the media, the woman underwent all the necessary resuscitation measures, but this did not help.</p>
<p>“This morning the patient&#8217;s condition deteriorated sharply, she was immediately transferred to the intensive care unit,” Tarasenko said.  &#8211; In the future, against the background of treatment, the deterioration continued in the form of progression of heart and respiratory failure.  The patient was connected to a ventilator.  All necessary resuscitation measures were taken.  However, despite this, the woman developed acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure, she died.</p>
<p>Doctors call the cause of death coronavirus infection, pneumonia, acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure.</p>
<p>The patient&#8217;s elderly patient became widely known after her grandson posted a video from the hospital.  He spent three days caring for his grandmother under the guise of a doctor due to the fact that, according to him, she was not given due attention.</p>
<p>“The situation in the hospital is awful: women are asking for water,” Sergei said. “I feel like I was in prison.  Slaughterhouse.  The doctors say they have a rush, but the wards are half empty.  Why are patients treated like pigs?  I asked one nurse why he could not change the patients&#8217; underwear, he replied that he was too lazy. &#8220;</p>
<p>How <a href="https://theins.ru/news/246043" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">told</a> Sergei The Insider, after the story was publicized and the prosecutor&#8217;s office complained, he cannot fly to Tomsk, because he knows that they plan to take him off the plane upon arrival.  Sergei also said that an information war was launched against him. </p>
