The Moscow authorities have budgeted about 10 billion rubles to support the operation and development of a network of CCTV cameras in the capital. About it reported Pavel Dityatev, deputy head of the city finance department.
This is almost the same as budgeted for next year for the fight against coronavirus.
“For the functioning and development of the citywide video surveillance system, 9 billion 800 million rubles are provided in 2022. These expenses will allow to ensure the work of 214 thousand cameras, ”said Dityatev.
According to him, funds will also be allocated to transfer images from video cameras to a single data processing center in Moscow.
On the eve it became known that Moscow will highlight in 2022 to fight the coronavirus 10.6 billion rubles. This money will go towards payments to doctors, the purchase of drugs, personal protective equipment and testing.
