The Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, on the air of the TV channel “78” said that the city authorities would contact the police because of publications satirical edition “Panorama” that against the background of a lockdown, the metro fare will rise 10 times – up to 550 rubles. About it writes “Paper”.

“According to such rumors, we will apply to the power structures, this is not just a joke or an anecdote. When rumors spread that lead to panic, it is a crime, ”Beglov said. In his opinion, “the people who spread just such rumors are the real bastards.”

The presenter of the TV channel, in turn, stressed that the website of the Panorama news agency contains information that his materials are satire, and not real news. The governor of St. Petersburg in response to this called the publication of the publication “an unscrupulous, specially thought out action.”

On October 24, Panorama published a news item, which said that Alexander Beglov had signed a decree introducing new restrictions, among which was an increase in the cost of travel in the city’s metro by 10 times, and in surface transport by five times. Already on the very logo of “Panorama” it is emphasized that the publication is satirical. In addition, under the text of the news, it is noted that “all texts on this site are grotesque parodies of reality and are not real news.”
