The Sputnik Light coronavirus vaccine has ended in Yekaterinburg. About it informs E1.

According to the newspaper, the drug is absent in almost all hospitals and clinics. Medical institutions are awaiting delivery, but its timing is unknown.

“Neither doctors nor even the Ministry of Health knows when the vaccine will come. And this is a problem, of course, people are asking us, but we have nothing to answer, ”the head of the polyclinic from Yekaterinburg quotes the publication.

Sputnik Light is used for both primary vaccination against coronavirus and revaccination.

How informs Ura.ru, in two large morgues in Yekaterinburg – in GKB No. 14 and the forensic medical examination bureau – there is no room left for storing the bodies of the dead. The publication clarifies that for these purposes in the city hospital, operating as a covid hospital, it is necessary to allocate premises that are not intended for storing corpses.

“Now all the morgues are jam-packed and cannot cope with the load. The morgue at the City Clinical Hospital No. 14 in Yekaterinburg had to curtail the work of the funeral hall, since this room is now used for storing bodies, air conditioning is installed there. The situation is even worse in the Sverdlovsk regional pathoanatomical bureau, where one of the women who died on October 22 has not yet been subjected to an autopsy, ”the source said.

The situation in the city’s morgues has deteriorated sharply in the past two weeks. In addition, funeral agencies in Yekaterinburg are experiencing problems with the supply of coffins and other ritual accessories.

Today in Russia identified 40,096 new cases of coronavirus infection per day. This is the maximum for the entire time of the pandemic. Most cases in Moscow – 8440 people. In St. Petersburg – 3186 new patients with coronavirus, in the Moscow region – 2639, in the Samara and Nizhny Novgorod regions for 1357 and 794 cases, respectively.
