The share of free bed capacity in Russia is no more than 12%. About it stated Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko.
“In general, the share of free bed capacity is 12%, but there are regions, I would like to note where the number of beds needs to be increased and more intensive measures to limit restrictions be introduced,” said Murashko.
According to him, the number of beds must be increased in 13 regions. These are the Udmurt Republic, the Smolensk Region, the Chukotka Autonomous District, the Ulyanovsk Region, the Saratov Region, the Mari El Republic, the Omsk Region, the Ryazan Region, the Primorsky Territory, the Republic of Adygea, the Vladimir Region, the Chuvash Republic and the Samara Region.
“Therefore, the actions of the regions, as you have already noted, on the instructions of the president to introduce restrictive measures is extremely important,” said Murashko.
He noted that 292 thousand beds have been deployed in the regions, which is 6% more than a week earlier, and more than 65% of the converted beds are equipped with oxygen.
