The RIA material contains a message about the incident from the Telegram channel of the Border Committee of Belarus, where it was published at 10:50 on October 26. And on the eve, on October 25, the Polish public organization “Medics at the Border” (Medics At The Border) placed on Twitter this entry:

“Around 12:00, the team went to a group of six adults and four children of preschool and primary school age. All the people were hungry, thirsty and frozen. Like the previous group, they all received parcels with humanitarian aid from us. The person we helped after the nose injury claimed that he was beaten on the Belarusian side. Exactly the same was said by a pregnant woman who was kicked in the stomach. The patient refused hospitalization. “

According to Medics on the Border, the further fate of this group is unknown to them.

The next day, the Belarusian version of the story about a pregnant refugee who was hit in the stomach appeared. Probably, this is the same woman who, after a meeting with doctors, was forced by Polish border guards to return to Belarus (if the return was not invented by Belarusian propagandists at all).

But this is not a situation in which the Polish and Belarusian sides mutually accuse each other. Medics at the Border is an independent group of enthusiasts who are not supported by the Polish authorities. On their Facebook page written:

“Forty doctors are ready to provide assistance on the Polish-Belarusian border. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration does not consent to their stay in the state of emergency zone. We demand a change in this decision. Frozen, hungry and frightened immigrants and refugees, including pregnant women and children, are trapped in the border forests. They die of cold and hunger. They need urgent medical attention. Let the doctors go to the border! “

Probably, the message of the Belarusian border committee appeared as a reaction to the resonance that the story about the beaten refugee received in Poland. An article titled “Report from the Border. A pregnant woman says she was beaten on the Belarusian side ” published edition Gazeta.pl, and then a story about “Medics on the Border”, which mentions this incident, came out on the Polish news channel TVN 24.
