Association of Tour Operators of Russia told about the record demand for tours to Egypt at the beginning of November.

According to tour operators, the lockdown and the situation with restrictions in the regions spurred demand for their services.

Since October 21, Egypt has allowed hotels to operate at full capacity. However, according to tour operators, this will not help close the shortage of seats during the peak period.

“The demand is so great for the coming dates that the Egyptian partners will not even have to take additional action. It is enough to announce the availability of rooms, and they will be immediately sold, “- said in the company” Russian Express “.

October 20 President Vladimir Putin announced non-working days from October 30 to November 7, inclusive, with the preservation of wages. After November 7, this regime may be extended.

A lockdown has been announced in Moscow from October 28 to November 7. “During this period, the work of all enterprises and organizations on the territory of the city of Moscow should be suspended, with the exception of organizations that ensure the functioning of the city infrastructure, enterprises of a continuous cycle and some others, the activities of which cannot be terminated in accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation”, – it says in the message of the capital’s mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

In St. Petersburg, the lockdown is introduced from October 30 and will last until November 7.
