The Ministry of Transport intends to increase the maximum amount of fare for cars on toll federal highways by 40-70%. About it informs “Interfax” with reference to the draft resolution of the department.
“The maximum fee is set at 3 rubles per 1 km of the paid section for the first tariff group in 2015 prices, which is 3.65 rubles per 1 km in 2021 prices. Thus, the required level of the maximum payment is – 3.65 x 35.5% = 5 rubles per 1 km in 2021 prices, ”reads the explanatory note to the document. According to the calculations of the Ministry of Transport, the average tariff for travel on toll roads in Europe “when compared with the level of purchasing power in Russia” is now 3.59 rubles / km, which is 35.5% higher than the Russian one.
According to the project, the maximum amount of fare on federal roads reconstructed and equipped by Avtodor is proposed to be raised from 3 rubles / km to 5 rubles / km, for artificial structures (bridges, overpasses) – from 21 rubles / km to 29 rubles / km. At the level of almost + 70% for road sections and almost + 40% for artificial structures, it is proposed to increase the maximum cost of travel on “state” sections for trucks and buses: on the roads – from 9.5 rubles / km to 16.25 rubles / km, on bridges – from 66.5 rubles / km to 91.5 rubles / km.
The Ministry of Transport intends to secure increased maximum fees for travel on new road sections built by Avtodor. The ministry justifies the introduction of increased maximums with “significant additional costs typical for newly created facilities, including for the purchase of land plots, the reorganization of engineering communications.”
